Guess who I saw?

More often than I would like I have to spent time away from Castle Fegrig through the demands of my day job. This usually entails a few nights in London. When there I usually see someone or other who has a public profile albeit it might be rather small.

This time I saw two such people namely Prunella Scales who ran in front of me before asking a taxi driver for directions to where ever. She is quite a wee woman and she did not have a Tesco bag either.

The other person that I saw was Judith Chalmers all in white as is her wardrobe standard from the years on the telly travel programme Wish you Where Here on ITV. She was walking along the street perhaps going for dinner however I could not tell you if she had pants on.

The Weather......It's going to Doctor Who

Hello, Twiglet and I were sitting watching the telly box and on comes that nice Daniel Corbitt
with the weather. On he went informing the viewer how the weather would develop over the next few days when he came out with the classic "isobars squeeze".

We both felt that it sounded like a medical condition
Nurse-" Is it sore when you breath Mr Fegrig?"
Fegrig - " Yes, it feels as if there is a tight band squeezing my isobars nurse"

or even a financial worry
Mr Big City Banker - "Well if the present economic climate continues I think that many consumers may experience an isobar squeeze the fiscal signs are ominous"

or from London Transport
Police Officer -" Well Mr Fegrig tell us why you pulled the emergency cord?"
Fegrig - " Well officer I was just reading my book and all of a sudden I felt someone in the crowd squeezing my isobars!"

Then of course on came the finale to the recent Doctor Who series after leaving all in Castle Fegrig on edge last week we waited with bated breath and we where not disappointed. Laughter, tears , action, explosions, some rather nice cross pollination stuff with history (Dr Who that is) and other Dr Who franchises oh! and the kissing. Oh yes my friends fab TV.

That is what I call an Isobar Squeeze!
