On your toast?

The smell and allure of the toasted loaf is a real comfort.

What do you have on your toasted, golden slice?

For some it's butter with no substitute.

Others take the sweeter route with jam, chocolate spread or that tangy sweetness of marmalade, a dying taste that last one I hear.

Some of us fall into the love it (me) or loath it camp of its got to be marmite on the toast.

Cheese does it for others, sliced cold or melted depending on personal foibles and the cheese used.

Still on the cheese of sorts route we have cream cheese. Not for my toast the savoury type for me it's the North American sweet flavours. These flavoured cheeses form part of my food parcel that I bring home whenever I visit North Anerica.

Here we have a strawberry tub, a blueberry tub and a honey & nut tub of flavoured cream cheese.
