Latent Power
One of the delights of living where we live is that time of the day when the natural lights are turned off – dusk.
In the summer we witness intense orange horizons, as the sun sets in the west. These sunsets are the equal to any I’ve seen in my travels.
In the winter, especially on the cold, still days, similar to the last few, we have sunsets that remind me of a well crafted Irish coffee. The horizon looking like a glass with indistinct levels where the ingredients of the drink meet.
As I was driving back from the woods yesterday with Boris I witnessed this.
It ticks many boxes for me
- Great view
- The beauty of the setting sun
- The wind turbine
- The latent promise
