Edinburgh parkrun, volunteering and croaky throats………..

10. December 2016 outdoors, parkrun, video 0

Edinburgh parkrun volunteering today,  it was a bit breezy for the parkrunners and this affected the audio quality of my video. Apologies for that, you could try lip reading but the facial forest might make that difficult. Some say the hairy face makes me look younger. I must usually look at least 70 then, if it makes me look younger!

Anyway back to parkrun this am, with my 100th done and dusted last week, this was always going to be a volunteer day and my favourite role of the 1km / almost home marshal.

Here’s the course from the start, you head out the way of the horizon at this Edinburgh event and follow those in front of you to come back.

I’m sure some tourists might think Edinburgh might mean a parkrun around the castle or for hill lovers down and then up the Royal Mile, or maybe even through the Queen’s back green, (translation)

But no, you run along the cost of the River Forth from Cramond, towards Leith and then back again.

And finally a wee film of me and my croaky throat, sorry about the wind noise. Maybe I need one of these small furry hamster looking mic things?
